Change Strategies by Sankofa
SANKOFA is an Adinkra symbol (Akan, Ghana) depicting a bird moving forward while looking backward with an egg (symbol of the future) in its mouth. This African principle means that to move forward in a healthy, grounded way, we must stretch back and gather the best of our past in order to achieve our full potential as we move forward.
